Adobe Photoshop to be Web-Based and Free

March 1st, 2007

Photoshop CS3 IconIn an interview with CNET, Adobe CEO Bruce Chizen announced that Adobe will be taking Photoshop online. The web-based client will be a limited version of Photoshop and ad-supported, similar to their online video editor Adobe Remix, a simple version of Premier Elements that will be provided freely to Photobucket users. The new client is set to compete with Google’s Picasa. So, what do you think? I think most of us already use Photoshop, can you think of any situations where you would use an online client instead?
