“Akzente” Style for Sage RSS Reader
March 25th, 2007 by Jerome DahdahFor even better readability, get the fixed-width version (preview).
What’s Sage?
Sage is a nice little Firefox sidebar extension that offers you a customizable RSS reader right in your browser. You can use your own stylesheets and make your feeds look exactly as you like them, without having to use an external app for reading.
Read on for installation instructions (simple stuff).
How to Install
Installing Akzente is pretty straight-forward. Save the .css file (see above) anywhere on your harddrive, go to your Sage settings by opening Sage in your sidebar and clicking:
Options -> Settings
Checkmark the “Use Custom Stylesheet” option and provide the path to where you saved the file.
And that’s it! Next time you load a feed in Sage, you should see the new style.
Feedback & Bugs
Please leave a note if you discover any bugs or have suggestions (or if you’re using it)!
I haven’t had the chance to test this under OSX yet, so please let me know if it’s working fine. Have fun!

Hehe, thanks Joao. I don’t think it will do much for mankind, but if people have a good use for it, then I’m happy. :)
